Windermere Agents from La Quinta and Old Town La Quinta offices

In time for the holidays, Windermere Real Estate Southern California welcomes returning family members and new faces to their La Quinta and Old Town La Quinta offices.

With the holiday season upon us and the resort season just around the corner, Windermere Real Estate Southern California’s offices in La Quinta and Old Town La Quinta welcome new family members and many familiar faces returning to their network of real estate professionals. At the La Quinta office located at 47-250 Washington Street, Sean Adam Brandt and Marlene Cannon-Bock are getting ready for an exciting season of sales. June Jolley gets into the swing of the season at Windermere’s Old Town La Quinta office, located at 78065 Main Street, Suite 100.

Sean Adam BrandtSean Adam Brandt grew up in Palm Desert with the local real estate market, as he is the son of Windermere agents Linda and Jeff Brandt. Sean’s strong work background in sales, marketing and merchandising will be an asset to his Sellers as he helps prep them to list their homes.  Sean’s personal knowledge of the area and his Coachella Valley network will benefit his Buyers also.

“Besides being real estate legacy, Sean brings great enthusiasm and vitality to his work as well as great skills in technology that make him a fine addition to our office,” said Sandy Beakey, Windermere’s Managing Broker. “I am delighted that he chose to join the brokerage his family has called home as well.”

Marlene Cannon-Bock rejoins the family of agents at Windermere’s La Quinta office, after a brief hiatus, where she will continue to serve her clients with integrity. Prior to her 14 years of real estate experience, Marlene worked for the State of California’s Department of Corrections, primarily in training and Marlene Cannon-Bockcounseling. When she and her husband decided to relocate, they fell in love with La Quinta and Marlene quickly decided to hang her license with the region’s market leader, Windermere Real Estate. “I enjoy working with people and have listed and sold all types of real estate properties,” shared Marlene, “from commercial properties and businesses to residential and vacation homes to working ranches.”

“Marlene came to us with a dynamic sales record in California’s Gold Country where she worked in markets very similar to the resort communities and residences of the Coachella Valley. We are pleased that she selected Windermere to continue her career in real estate,” said Sandy Beakey.

June JolleyFor 25 years, June Jolley has been representing buyers and sellers of luxury homes, custom homesites and upscale weekend get-aways behind the gates of La Quinta’s most prestigious golf course and residential communities. With over $260 million dollars in personal transactions, June is an intelligent, dynamic real estate professional who knows how to create, negotiate and close the best deal for her clients. Her years of marketing and sales experience extend back to her career prior to real estate when she was Director of Marketing for Max Factor Cosmetics. June and Terry, her husband and fellow Windermere agent, appreciate the natural beauty and plethora of engaging attractions that the Coachella Valley holds, and pass that along to each client.

“I am thrilled to have June join our office in Old Town La Quinta,” said Sandy Beakey. “Her background in marketing combined with her real estate market experience make her a wonderful addition to our office. I look forward to working with her and helping her further her impressive sales record and excellent client service that she provides.”

Windermere La Quinta Agents Help Honor The Past

Friday, November 18th, 2011

Windermere Southern California has built itself upon a firm foundation of principles, ethics and practices. We know that by being familiar with where we come from, we can better plan where we’re going.

This weekend, agents from our Windermere La Quinta office (47-250 Washington Street) and Old Town office (78-065 Main Street, Suite 100) are helping to bring a little history to Lake Cahuilla Park!  In recognition of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the La Quinta Museum is presenting a re-enactment of four Civil War battles.

Windermere Southern California is one of the local sponsors of this exciting event, and admission is FREE. Click here for more information.

Check it out in this bit from the La Quinta Cove newsletter:

“The year 2011 marks the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War.  To commemorate this, the City of La Quinta, the La Quinta Museum, Historical Society, Riverside County, and several corporate sponsors will sponsor a unique weekend.   Saturday and Sunday will see scores of members of the American Civil War Society come to Lake Cahuilla and literally set up camp and fight some battles. In addition, the encampment will have hospital, chow wagons, and other elements common to the Civil War.
On Saturday (19th) the park opens to the public for FREE at 9:00 a.m. and battles will be “fought” with cannons and muskets at 11:30 and 3:00.  The park will close at 5:00 that day.

On Sunday (20th) the park is open from 9-3:00, with church services at 9:00 and battles at 11:00 and 2:00.  Each battle will be different.  Guests are invited to ask questions of the “soldiers” to learn even more about this critical period in our nation’s history.

Also, vendors will offer food and souvenirs. Don’t miss this truly historic event…bring the kids and the cousins and the neighbors.  Remember, it’s free!

Windermere Agents Wishing The City of La Quinta a Happy Birthday!!!!

On Saturday, April 30, Windermere’s La Quinta and Old Town La Quinta agents helped their home town celebrate its 29 years as a city with a Community Picnic and Birthday Bash which packed Fritz Burns Park with over 1000 happy revelers. Windermere was one of just 60 vendors participating in the fun, which included games and children’s activities, food, and gift giveaways. “We are proud to be a part of the many La Quinta events our city hosts,” said Sandy Beakey, Managing Broker, Windermere La Quinta and Old Town La Quinta offices. “It’s a joy to be able to give back to the community we work, live and play in.”

Windermere, handing out visors and balloons at its Windermere putting green, also distributed bottles of water to the thirsty throngs. Kudos to the La Quinta High School Air Force Junior ROTC Cadets, who monitored the games.

One of the great things about the Coachella Valley is the sense of community each city fosters with great local events like this, and Windermere agents are always right in the middle of it! Happy Birthday, La Quinta! You’re not getting older…you’re getting better!
