Elaine Leib, with Windermere’s La Quinta office at 47-250 Washington Street, has cause to celebrate!

Elaine, a successful real estate agent since 1970, has been a top producer in every agency and state in which she has worked. Beginning her real estate career as co-owner of a small real estate company in California’s San Fernando Valley, she has provided her own special brand of customer service in Phoenix, Arizona; Port Angeles, Washington, and now in the Coachella Valley, where she relocated in 1997.  Elaine, who makes her home at Sun City Palm Desert, especially loves selling in Active Adult communities and her clients appreciate her experience and insight, as well as her charm and easy-going manner.  In recognition of Elaine’s ongoing success, she has been named ‘Honorary Member-for-Life’ by the California Association of Realtors®.  In their congratulatory letter to Elaine, LeFrancis Arnold, 2012 President, and Joel Singer, CEO of CAR say this: “We join in the pride your Association has for your distinguished, continuous service and would like to add CAR’s congratulations and best wishes for your continued success.” And Bob Deville, co-owner, Windermere Real Estate Southern California, adds: “We’re just thrilled that Elaine is part of the Windermere family. Elaine brings a very special vantage point to her clients, gained from participating in the real estate world across such a broad range of markets.”  Congratulations, Elaine! Well done!

Cinco de Mayo Was Celebrated…and Windermere Agents Were There

Monday, May 21st, 2012

Nobody brings more energy and joy to a celebration than a group of Windermere agents, and Indio’s 2012 Cinco de Mayo party was no exception.  On Saturday, May 5, a couple thousand happy revelers filled 5 city blocks, enjoying festivities that included a music stage featuring live Mariachi bands and colorful Spanish dancers, and a classic and ‘low rider’ car show showcasing great cars from across the Valley. We don’t need to mention (but we will) the unbelievably tasty food available everywhere. Of course, Windermere Real Estate agents were right in the middle of things, with their own Windermere booth staffed by nearly a dozen of Windermere Indio office’s finest!

And for extra credit, Cinco de Mayo is:

1.  An 18th century term meaning ‘Hold the mayo.’

2.  Old Latin for the practice of re-gifting birthday presents.

3.  Not the Mexican equivalent of our 4th of July, as sometimes defined…it is the celebration commemorating the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla.  Cinco de Mayo (or as it is called in Puebla, Mexico, ‘El Dia de la Batella de Puebla’) is more widely celebrated in the United States than in Mexico, where the true Mexican Independence Day is observed on September 16.

See?  For history stuff, go to Wikipedia. For the ultimate Southern California real estate experience, Windermere is FANTASTICO!

Windermere’s Robin Milonakis Group Announces Grand Opening of Dana Point Office

Thursday, May 17th, 2012

Windermere Real Estate SoCal’s Robin Milonakis and the Robin Milonakis Group will formally dedicate their recently renovated Dana Point office on Friday, May 18, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.  Ideally situated in the Dana Marina Plaza across from Dana Point Harbor (24921 Dana Point Harbor Drive, Suite B220) the office presents the perfect blend of location, sophisticated style and function. Windermere’s Robin Milonakis Group, which includes Robin, Kristle Bartolome and Jessica Schofer, will be welcoming their clients and guests to the celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony kicking off an evening of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and fun.  The Robin Milonakis Group has long enjoyed a well-established presence in the Southern California real estate market.  Robin, a Columbus, Ohio, native and a graduate of Ohio State University, came to California at 24 years of age, and hit the ground running.  She is a most consistent game changer in her career as a leading Dana Point real estate professional in Coastal and South Orange County; her knowledge and mastery of the market builds upon her background in finance and home loans. “My team and I can move mountains for you,” she says. “Our credo is Go Big or Go Home.”  Bob Deville, co-owner, Windermere SoCal, adds: “We’re really excited about this opening; Windermere’s unprecedented growth in the Southern California coastal market over the past year shows that exceptional service and experienced, knowledgeable real estate professionals are what Buyers and Sellers are looking for. And that’s what Windermere is all about.
