Windermere Palm Springs agent Michael Paduano has thrown his hat into the ring for the upcoming Desert Water Agency election. Two of five Director seats are up for election on November 8, and Paduano is the sole challenger facing the two incumbents. The seat he hopes to win covers Palm Springs, the Cathedral City Cove, and part of Desert Hot Springs. “DWA Board members help set policy for the ratepayer. In these times of economic unrest, fiscally sound decisions are essential. There also needs to be an increased commitment toward water quality, conservation, and education,” says Paduano. “As a member of the Desert Water Agency Board of Directors, I will be a strong, supportive voice for the interests and concerns of the rate payer, and I look forward to being an active and contributing member of an already existing board.”
With 3 years at the state level of the California Association of Realtors (CAR), Paduano is already deeply involved with homeowner and real estate issues, as well as working to support local community services including Gilda’s Club Desert Cities, Greater Palm Springs Pride, and Safe House of the Desert. Paduano is especially proud about being accepted into the California Association of Realtors ‘Candidate Training Program,’ a 1-1/2 day intensive Sacramento training conference offered every two years by CAR to licensed real estate agents running for public office. “Realtors have a lot of responsibility to our clients, and to the communities in which we live and work,” Paduano believes.
Bob Deville, co-owner, Windermere Real Estate Southern California agrees. “Windermere is proud of its agents and the level of community involvement they are known for committing to. Michael exemplifies this willingness to dive in, to work hard, and to look ahead. We all benefit.”

Windermere Preferred Living kicked off its second year as THE go-to real estate company in Brea by hosting a fabulous First Anniversary celebration at its 135 South State College office.
The glittering event, festooned with hundreds of blue and white balloons, was by all accounts the ultimate industry event in the beautiful city of Brea, attended by a huge number of real estate movers and shakers (including lots of folks interested in checking out some of the features and benefits of being a Windermere agent).
Included among the happy party-goers: John ‘OB’ Jacobi, President, Windermere Real Estate, on a visit to absolutely gorgeous Southern California…where our unbelievable agents and incredible weather draw people in from EVERYWHERE!
Congratulations to James and Andrea Marquez, owners of the Windermere Preferred Living office! You’ve shown Brea how it’s done, and you’re sure to have even greater success in the coming years!
Windermere folks are known for taking an active part in their communities, where they live, work and play. And that’s just the way it should be!
Kudos to our own Andy Linsky of the Andy/Sven/Kelli (ASK) Team at Windermere’s Palm Springs Main office.
Andy has just been elected Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation in Washington DC.
Hey, Mr. Linsky, how about a quote?
“I’m very honored to have been elected to this position of great responsibility, and to represent the desert community in our quest for full equality.”
“Andy has always been a strong advocate for HRC and continues to devote time and money to promote this growing movement,” says Bob Deville, co-owner, Windermere Southern California. “If not for volunteers like Andy, the advances through HRC would be nonexistent.”
Very cool, Andy! Congratulations!

Windermere Real Estate Southern California and its agents are known for supporting their local communities with energy, time and financial contributions–as individuals, as the leading real estate company in the Coachella Valley, and through the Windermere Foundation, which contributes a percentage of every real estate sale toward local community services.
Agents from the Windermere Indio office, located at 81-703 Highway 111, for the second year in a row, enjoyed the opportunity of participating in the Grape Festival presented by The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mecca and the church’s volunteer group, ‘Angeles de la Misericordia’ (Angels of Mercy). Windermere, a Gold Sponsor of the event, actively participated with agents staffing a booth at the Festival, helping raise funds to be utilized to assist and feed the homeless during the agricultural picking season. In addition to Windermere agents staffing the booth and collecting individual donations, the Windermere Foundation presented a $500 contribution to this important cause, helping to make a real difference in the lives of the recipients.
“There are many ways to support the communities here in which we live, work and play,” said Bob Deville, co-owner, Windermere Southern California. “Windermere and our agents derive immense personal satisfaction from contributing their time, effort and money to local community service projects and providers. The Sanctuary does important work here in the Coachella Valley, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
Congratulations to Greg Asher of the Asher/White Team at the Windermere Palm Springs Midtown Office! Greg has received his Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) Certification from the National Association of Realtors®!
What this means, of course, is that Greg is now even more qualified to help his clients navigate those challenging waters that have become such an integral part of today’s real estate market.
“Continuing Education is certainly nothing new with Windermere and Greg Asher,” says Bob Deville, co-owner, Windermere Southern California. “Windermere congratulates Greg for his hard work and initiative in furthering his real estate credentials.”
Good job, Greg!
